Cowboys, Turkey Farmers, and Shrimp Dumplings?

Sanpete County, UT is inhabited by good old fashioned pioneer stock.  There are turkey farmers, cowboys, shepherds, rodeo fans, sewing moms, and competition quilters.  The towns in this county are full of normal American folk who stick to their normal American ways.

And for one San Francisco based Chinese family, Ephraim of Sanpete County, was the best place to open up their Chinese Restaurant…huh? You’d think they would be run out of town with pitch forks and torches!  It turns out that while the fold of Sanpete have big opinions, they have big hearts and stomachs too.  The town is also lacking in a good Italian, Mexican, and BBQ restaurant, so I hope other daring food entrepreneurs find their way to this friendly country crowd yearning for great places to go out to.

If you happen to be out and about camping, hunting, skiing, four wheeling, or doing other such fun out door activities in Utah, and you’ve got an “itch’n”  for good chinese food, check out the Snow Dragon Restaurant in Ephraim. It’s on the main street that runs right through town, so you can’t miss it!  I recommend their orange beef myself.
